Not only did Jeff Gordon win the 2001 Brickyard 400, but he also won the 2001 NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship for Hendrick Motorsports in the familiar No. 24 Chevrolet. With 25 laps to go, Jeff Gordon passed Sterling Marlin on a restart and pulled away for the win. Gordon became the first three-time winner of the Brickyard 400.

After Sunday’s victory in the Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500 at Martinsville Speedway, might a fifth Sprint Cup Championship from the Indiana favorite be next?
