Tony Laurenzana

Bio:

I'm 24 and live in Bedford, Ind. Al Unser Jr. was my favorite driver growing up. I met him numerous times while I was little and still have some autographed photos my dad took of him. I follow the IZOD IndyCar Series and NASCAR, with two-time Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti, four-time Brickyard 400 winner Jeff Gordon and three-time Brickyard 400 winner Jimmie Johnson as my favorite drivers. My girlfriend, Carla, and I met in passing during the week of the 2007 Brickyard 400, and we texted each other during the race! She now joins me at IMS, as her first race was the 2008 Indianapolis 500. Carla's favorite drivers are Jimmie Johnson and Will Power. She used to watch all of the NASCAR races with her grandfather before he passed away in 2007, and he was a big fan of Jimmie. She "dedicated" Jimmie's fifth consecutive Sprint Cup in 2010 to her grandfather. When we are not watching racing, we have season tickets for the Indiana Pacers and watch football.
