Cool……….great photo. Great times…..
Certainly everything looks very plain on pit road but if you look up the pit lane you’ll see those STP pajama outfits that identifies Andy Granatelli’s crew, for sure. I can hear Mario’s comments after removing the rookie stripes, “….now I’m qualified. Time to find the short way around here for the race.” Or, something like that. Great shot.
Its amazing how all my old race car heroes are losing their hair! Everyone except Mario that is! This guy is incredible! He looks as good now as he did in his rookie season. Maybe a few more pounds but he looks incredible! Way to go Mario!
